Dr. Waight is director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Interventional Cardiology of The Heart Center at Akron Children’s Hospital. He received his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine.

Dr. Waight completed a pediatric residency at the University of Chicago Children’s Hospital and a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, Washington University. He previously served as an assistant professor of pediatrics in the section of pediatric cardiology at the University of Chicago and Pritzker School of Medicine. He also served as a consultant for Little Company of Mary Hospital, Mercy Hospital and Ingalls Hospital in Illinois. He has been a pediatric cardiologist since 1997.
