Dr. Terracina graduated from The University of Mississippi Medical Center. He and his family moved from Panama City Florida where he developed and served as the director of the bariatric program at Gulf Coast Medical Center. With both a successful general surgery and bariatric practice for 10 years, he moved to our area in 2004 to bring the laparascopic approach to our program.
He has performed nearly 1100 laparascopic gastric bypass procedures and is the most experienced LAP-BAND surgeon in our area with over 350 procedures to date. Dr Terracina enjoys providing patients with cutting edge approaches to weight loss surgery to assist them with meeting their personal goal of good health.
Dr. Terracina is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Society of Bariatric Surgery and the American Medical Association. Dr. Terracina has been a great addition to the Weight Loss Surgery Center of Hampton Roads, P.C. and truly enjoys his patients and this specialized field within general surgery.
