Dr. Robert Sharpe grew up in the Kansas City area and attended the University of Missouri for his undergraduate and medical degrees. He is married and has two children.
Dr. Sharpe served his internship and residency at the University of Missouri- Columbia, and did a Sports Medicine Fellowship at UMKC. He has served as team doctor for several area high schools on both sides of the state line. Currently he is the team doctor for athletes at Shawnee Mission North High School.
Dr. Sharpe joined Midwest Orthopaedics, P.A. in 2003, and sees patients at both the Shawnee Mission office and the St. Luke’s South offices. Like all of our doctors he is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery, and is a member of the AAOS and American Society for Sports Medicine. Dr. Sharpe is on staff at Shawnee Mission Medical Center in Merriam, Kansas.
