Section Chief of CT, Interventional Radiologist, AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center

Jack Shakarshy, MD, is section chief of computer tomography (CT) and assistant chief of interventional radiology on the Medical Staff of AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center (ARMC).

Prior to joining ARMC, Shakarshy was clinical instructor of radiology at New York University School of Medicine in New York, New York. He also worked as a visiting staff radiologist at Gouverneur Hospital in New York.

Shakarshy was an interventional/vascular and abdominal CT/ultrasound Fellow in the Department of Radiology at New York University Medical Center in New York, New York, where he was also a diagnostic radiology resident.

Shakarshy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and psychology from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts. He earned his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine in New York. Shakarshy is board certified by the American Board of Radiology.

Shakarshy is a resident of Ventnor, where he resides with his wife and two children.
