Dr. Salzberg earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA in 1998 after receiving his B.A. in Biological Sciences at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA in 1994. He completed his Categorical Surgical Internship and Categorical Surgical Residency at the Medical College of Virginia in 2005 where he was also Chief resident in his last year. Dr. Salzberg's post graduate studies also include earning a Fellowship in Organ Transplantation at the Medical College of Virginia in 2007.
Since 2006, Dr. Salzberg has been Clinical Instructor in Surgery in the Division of Transplant Surgery at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Transplant Surgery.
