Walter C. Peppelman, Jr., DO, is a native Pennsylvanian from Philadelphia. He is on the leading edge of investigative research and technological advancements in surgical techniques. He is world renowned as a surgeon, researcher and educator, having traveled from South Africa – to Paris – to Germany and throughout the United States.
Dr. Peppelman obtained a B.S. degree in Physics from Ursinus College, then pursued a career in medicine by achieving a D.O. degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Peppelman completed his internship and residency at Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg PA. He continued his residency in Pittsburgh at Mercy Hospital and in Boston Children’s Hospital with Harvard University.
He completed his Fellowship in Spine Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh, then returned to Harrisburg in 1991, where he established his current practice.
Dr. Peppelman is currently Chairman of the Department of Orthopedics at PinnacleHealth’s Community Campus. |
