Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, Supervising Attending in the Department of Psychiatry at St. Luke's and Roosevelt Hospitals, the University Hospital of Columbia University. She has a Ph.D in Neurophysiology and Neuropsychology.

Dr. Mindlin has had intensive training through her professional career in Sleep Disorders, including special training for ‘Brain Music Therapy’. Her training and expertise also include Anxiety, Mood and Personality Disorders. She has expertise in different psychotherapeutic modalities such as DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), short-term dynamic psychotherapy and classic psychodynamic psychotherapy. Dr. Mindlin has an extensive knowledge in psychopharmacology and constantly follows up on modern interventions in her every day clinical work.

In 2004, Dr. Mindlin was granted the Exclusive Rights to provide Brain Music Therapy in the United States. Brain Music Therapy is an effective, clinically proven treatment that fights insomnia, anxiety, depression, stress, and headaches, and results in improved productivity and concentration.
