Dr. Andrew Krumerman was born and raised in the New York City.  He graduated from the University of Michigan, and went on to receive his MD from The Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv.  Postgraduate training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology was at The Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Hospital.  Subspecialty training in Cardiac Electrophysiology was at Columbia/New York Presbyterian Hospital.  Following fellowship training, Dr. Krumerman joined the renowned Montefiore Arrhythmia Service and was appointed Assistant Professor of Medicine at The Albert Einstein College of Medicine.  Dr. Krumerman’s special interests include complex left atrial catheter ablation for cure of atrial fibrillation.  He is site’s principal investigator for the STOP-AF study; A multicenter, randomized, controlled trial of cryoballoon ablation in the treatment of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation.
