Dr. Peter Kozuch serves as an attending physician in the division of Hematology-Oncology at Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Kozuch directs the gastrointestinal medical oncology program and also serves as the program director for the fellowship training program in hematology-oncology.  His clinical and research interests are in gastrointestinal malignancies, particularly the development of new therapies for the treatment of these diseases. 

Dr. Kozuch joined The Continuum Cancer Centers of New York in 2000 after completing a hematology-oncology fellowship at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston Texas. Prior to fellowship, Dr. Kozuch received his medical degree from the Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia and completed internal medicine residency training at Boston University Medical Center. Dr. Kozuch is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both oncology, certified through 2020, and hematology through 2014.
