Warner K. Huh, MD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and an Associate Scientist in the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr Huh received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, Washington, DC. His postgraduate training included a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston, Massachusetts and a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.  He is board certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and American College of Surgeons. He has been named in the Best Doctors in America®database and has received numerous awards for his teaching accomplishments and research.

His clinical interests include minimally invasive surgical approaches as well as novel electrosurgical approaches for open gynecologic surgery including ovarian cancer cytoreductive procedures. Dr Huh’s research interests include vaccines for cervical neoplasia, in vivo spectroscopy for cervical neoplasia, and the development of novel screening and treatment strategies for gynecologic malignancies. He has authored or co-authored over 75 articles including publications in Clinical Cancer Research, Gynecologic Oncology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, the American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology and The Journal of Lower Genital Tract Disease.
