Pediatric orthopaedic surgeon
Pediatric orthopaedic surgeon David Gordon, MD, has been part of the Duluth Clinic since 1993. While the majority of his practice focuses on pediatric orthopaedic surgeries, Dr. Gordon also works with the general trauma team and does spine reconstruction for children and adults.

Dr. Gordon says he truly enjoys his specialty. “It’s very rewarding,” he says. “You make a big difference in people’s ability to function day to day. And I like helping kids.”

Dr. Gordon attended medical school at the University of Toronto, where he also completed an internship. He worked as a family physician in northern Ontario for three years and then opted for more specialized orthopaedic training at the University of Ottawa. Dr. Gordon also completed a pediatric orthopaedic fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario. He worked in Canada for another three years before joining the Duluth Clinic.

The surgeon says he’s looking forward to his first live webcast. “In today’s world, the public wants as much information as possible,” Dr. Gordon says. “I think this is a very good vehicle to do that.”
