Dr. Giesler maintains a private gynecologic practice in addition to his academic responsibility teaching advanced laparoscopic skills to the Baylor Obstetrics and Gynecology residents. Dr. Giesler has been in practice for 30 years. He has been teaching surgeons ultrasonic energy surgical skills since 1996. He has introduced the Harmonic WAVE technology to his residents performing abdominal hysterectomies since December, 2006.
