Since 1993, Dr. Flinn has served as Chief of the Division of Vascular Surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center, where he has also directed the development of the Maryland Vascular Center. Certified in both general and vascular surgery, he came to Baltimore from Chicago where he was a faculty member of the Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University.

Dr. Flinn received his BA from Brown University and his MD from Northwestern University. He completed a residency in General Surgery and then a specialty fellowship in Vascular Surgery also at Northwestern.

Dr. Flinn's special interests include: Suprarenal Aneurysms; Mesenteric and Renal Revascularizations; Complex Reoperative Aortic, Carotid and Peripheral Bypass Procedures; Noninvasive Surveillance Programs for DVT, Vein Bypass Grafts and Carotid Surgery.
