Walter Choi, MD serves as an attending physician in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Beth Israel Medical Center and St.Luke's and Roosevelt Hospitals. His clinical and research interests are in thoracic and gastrointestinal malignancies, and the use of new technologies in radiation oncology including stereotactic body radiation therapy. He has joined Continuum Cancer Centers of New York after completing a Fellowship in Brachytherapy and Stereotactic Radiosurgery at Roosevelt Hospital and Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Choi received his medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. After a medical internship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, he completed his residency training in radiation oncology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Dr. Choi is board certified by the American Board of Radiology.
