Dr. Andrew M. Casden, an expert in minimally invasive spine surgery in children and adults, is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and fellowship trained in spine surgery. He is also an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Dr. Casden has directed a course titled “Pedicle Screw Fixation of the Thoracic Spine” which taught other spinal surgeons about the latest surgical techniques for the treatment of spinal deformity.
Dr. Casden’s interests include the treatment of spinal deformity such as scoliosis, kyphosis and other spinal disorders. Dr. Casden specializes in the surgical treatment of herniated discs, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, tumors and adult spinal problems. He utilizes the most recent most recent bone growth technology available (BMP) when performing spinal fusion.
