A board-certified urologist, Dr. Butler graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School, Ann Arbor, in 1990 and completed his residency training in urology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in 1996. He is on staff at ProHealth Care’s Waukesha Memorial and Oconomowoc Memorial hospitals and serves as the associate medical director of ProHealth Care’s Center for Prostate Care.

Dr. Butler is interested in all areas of adult urology, including urologic oncology, urinary incontinence and all forms of voiding dysfunction. He has specific interest and extensive experience in robotic surgery and was instrumental in developing the robotic prostatectomy surgery program at Waukesha Memorial Hospital using the da Vinci® Surgical System. Dr. Butler also has experience in the treatment of bladder outlet obstruction using GreenLight and other laser therapies.

In addition, Dr. Butler is an associate clinical professor in the Department of Urology at the Medical College of Wisconsin and serves on the Board of Directors for the Waukesha-Elmbrook Independent Physicians Association.

Dr. Butler emphasizes a multidisciplinary approach toward the treatment of genitourinary disease, with the goal of educating his patients so that they can achieve greater comfort, relief of symptoms, a cure when possible, and, most importantly, peace of mind.
