Advancing Oral Cavity Surgery with Harmonic® Technology - featuring Harmonic® HK105 Blade
Harmonic® Technology has been used to perform oral cavity surgery for over a decade. Patient benefits and surgical techniques with recent device options, which can further facilitate successful utilization and integration of Harmonic Technology for tonsillectomies and UPPP’s, will be discussed. In addition, the faculty will present surgical techniques to optimize the impact of oral cavity surgery on speech and voice.
This presentation will include demonstrations of the safe and effective use of Harmonic® Technology (Harmonic® HK105 Blade); it is not intended to be used as a surgical training guide. Additional training beyond the webcast is needed. Other surgeons may employ different techniques. Individual surgeon preference and experience, as well as patient needs, should always dictate variation in procedure steps.
