Advanced Energy in Laparoscopic Hysterectomy

Join gynecological surgeons Andrew I Brill, MD, from California Pacific Medical Center and Ted Teh Min Lee, MD, from Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC, as they highlight the use of Advanced Energy as it pertains to laparoscopic hysterectomy.  The webcast will highlight basic principles of electrosurgical and ultrasonic energy during these types of procedures.  Additionally, differences amongst current Advanced Bipolar systems will be discussed.  These systems and the clinical applications for GYN surgery will be presented.  Pre-recorded surgical video will include the demonstration of EnSeal® and Harmonic® technologies in both a laparoscopic supracervical and total laparoscopic hysterectomy.
